  • Couldn't I just travel cheaper on my own?
We do not believe so. We have partnerships and relationships with hotels, luxury homes, flights, trains, cars, excursions, ticket sellers and co-working spaces where we get amazing discounts for our buying power. That's called leverage. We use this leverage to minimize our expenses to save you the most money by negotiating costs from different vendors. If you were to book and plan out the same things we provide for you, you would end up paying up to 80% more than what we pay for it on your behalf. We do all the planning for you which saves you countless hours and most of the time people who travel to countries they have never been to before do not typically know what to do, where to go or how to stay safe. We make sure you get the best experiences and keep you safe with our on location support team. We host personal development seminars, hosted by leaders and business owners, which are free to attend and other team building activities, which are all 100% voluntary but free to join. You would also not get to experience the culture of The World Travelers Club or get all the discounts and perks we offer. Traveling the world with so many unique and talented individuals is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that cannot be bought. The relationships you develop through our program have invaluable professional and personal benfits that have typically lasted long after the trip was over.
  • As a Co-Creator, how much money would I make?"
We partner with companies to offer independant contractor jobs to our Co-Creators so they can work remotely while traveling the world with us. All of the compnestaion varies based on multiple aspects. We typically pay out anywhere between up to 40-75% in direct commissions & residual commissions. Once you acquire the client, that client is recorded as yours and every dollar of profit from that client is directly calculated into your pay period and you will receive 40% of the profit. If you receive a significant amount of your income in the form of residual commissions, you can gradually decrease your workload because you continue to receive income from past sales even if you have made no sales within the current pay period. You may reach the point at which you can have all of your monthly fees paid & you can support yourself entirely on residual income. We expect our Co-Creators to make between $3,500-$5,000 starting out within the first month and gradually increase their income throughout the journey. However, there are absolutely no guarantees of income. You only get paid for the work and effort you put into gaining clients and maintaining positive relationships with those clients. Monthly residuals commissions are paid out on the 1st of every month and direct commissions are paid out weekly on the following Friday. As part of our Creative Team, you are paid up to 40% direct commission per project we deliver to you. If you are brought on as an Independant Contractor, you are 100% responsible for finding your own clients, as well as delivering on the tasks we give you. We do not touch a single penny from the money you earn with your business as a Freelancer. Our Co-Creators get paid their direct commissions on the following Friday after the project is complete. They also get paid their monthly residual commissions on the 1st of every month.
  • Are there specific dates and deadlines to submit for acceptance?
We are taking applications all year long, but we approve them 2 monthsprior to the trip of choice. (e.g. If you want to go on the 12 month trip from January, 1st - December, 31st you need to be accepted and approved by November, 1st.)

  • Are the cities we travel to safe?
The short answer is: YES. The long answer is: Regardless of where you are in the world, most big cities are likely to have good spots and spots that some may want to avoid. Plus, there is always some level of risk inherent in international travel. Using common sense and being aware of your surroundings goes a long way. The World Travelers Club takes many steps and uses many different resources to maximize safety and minimize risk. Some are government resources, some are private resources, and some are in-house resources. At a high level, here are the resources that we use to minimize the risks associated with international travel: The U.S. State Department The State Department provides country reports and security assessments on every country we visit. These are public documents that we rely on, and we suggest that you check them out as well. (If you’re from the US, you should join STEP as well.) Also, we have a relationship with the U.S. Embassy in nearly every country we visit. International SOS In order to get the fullest possible picture regarding safety, and to supplement the U.S. State Department reports, we contract with International SOS, one of the largest international security firms in the world, and they provide us with: (a) safety reports and information on each city we visit; and, (b) worldwide emergency services . Network Engineer We have a network engineer that visits our co-working spaces to maximize network stability and security. Local Teams We feel that nothing is more valuable than local knowledge when it comes to safety. We have full-time staff members in each of the cities we visit and they provide our "Nomads" with intimate firsthand safety advice regarding what neighborhoods or areas should be avoided, local do's and don'ts, etc.
  • What if I have an unexpected emergency and must leave the program early?
We understand that life happens. If you have an unexpected emergency that requires you to travel back home to handle any issues, you are more than welcome to do so, but at your own expense. We expect you to handle the emergency and get back to us as soon as possible. If you need to leave the program permanently, for any reason, you are still responsible to pay for the following 2 months. The reason is because we book travel, accommodations and activites 2 months in advance and we are expecting you be there.
  • Am I able to take breaks or go on vacation while on a 12 month program?
You are free to leave and rejoin the group as you wish throughout the trip, however you are responsible for funding any trips outside of our 12 month program itinerary, as well as expected to pay your monthly fees. Opting out for a month or months at a time is not an option.
  • How do we travel between cities or countries?
Planes, trains and automobiles: buses, ferries, bikes & we may even take a horse if we want! Whatever makes the most sense given the location. Programs typically change city locations on weekends so that "Nomads" don't have to take time out of a work day to transistion from one city to the next.
  • What are the accommodations like?
Accommodations vary from city to city, but we always provide "Nomads" with a bedroom in a 3-star and above hotel, house, apartment or hostel. Please not that we have options ranging from single person rooms to groups of 4 people sharing the same room. We do not offer co-ed shared rooms (unless a couple has requested it). The World Travelers Club accommodations are always clean and secure. If you have any special needs, we will do our best to prioritize those requests.
